AfroMenu was founded in 2015 by Esther Edose with a vision to bring authentic African and Nigerian products to the Nigerian community in Mexico. At a time when such products were scarce, Esther took it upon herself to make a difference. She began by personally bringing small batches of Nigerian food items in her suitcase from Nigeria. What started as a modest effort quickly blossomed into something much greater.

From a small showcase in her apartment, Esther offered a selection of treats like cookies, egusi, and poundo yam flour to those around her. Her passion and dedication led her to expand her offerings, eventually sourcing a wider variety of products and cooking traditional Nigerian dishes that soon became local favorites.
